Die Erklärungen gefielen mir. Ansonsten hat man als bekennender Synthetist alter Schule die meisten Sachen vermutlich eh irgendwo auf Tonträger herumstehen. |

Hier die Kommentare: 1. Kraftwerk - Europa Endlos: "A timeless hypnotic classic from the kings of all electronic music. Forget all the old hype about cold robot music this is romance and beauty from the masters and my all time heros!" 2. Robyn - Dancing on My Own: "My favourite electro queen. Robyn creates such beautiful melancholy by making you cry to the toughest synth rhythms. This album version is even better than the single.. no prisoners!" 3. Villa Nah - Remains of Love: "There are only a few of the new generation of electronic acts that speak in a truly unique voice.. and this is one of them. The Finnish duo combine the most minimal programming with some of the saddest lyrics that you will ever hear." 4. Blue Nile - Stay: "It’s hard to pick just one track from Blue Nile’s first and most wonderful album. Please do yourself a favour and get the whole album." 5. Hot Chip - Over and Over: "What a distinctive sound these guys have. Fragile and tough, humorous and dark all at the same time… words cannot describe Hot Chip.. that is why you must listen to understand." 6. The Normal - Warm Leatherette: "Daniel Miller makes a record that changes the world. It certainly changed ours when we heard it in Eric’s club in Liverpool in 1978.. some one English had been listening to the music that we loved… and he had made a record… we had to act.. OMD was born!" 7. Lady Gaga - Bad Romance: "When she gets it right she really gets it right. But when she gets it wrong it’s painful. Gaga gets it absolutely right on this one.. my favourite single of last year." 8. Devo - Jocko Homo: "Who thought that de-evolution could be such fun? I saw Devo play their first ever gig in the UK.. where?.. Eric’s in Liverpool of course." 9. Royksopp - Happy up here: "How can you not be happy listening to this tune. How did they make this tune?.. Breaking away from the tortured Scandinavian world of Ibsen, Munch and Bergman. You suspect that it is the euphoria before the suicide." 10. Can - I Want More: "The jazz department of Krautrock… Personally I can’t now feel too much for their clever musical ramblings… I guess that is why this is my only remaining love." 11. Au Revoir Simone - Trace a Line: "Girls on cheap drum machines, cheesy organs, and harmonium.. it doesn’t get any better than this…. So retro electro it totally modern; don’t try to work it out just love it!" 12. Brian Eno - Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy: "We loved Roxy Music, but we loved Eno perhaps even more. He taught us how to create interesting fractured songs out of really conventional instruments. This is his most beautiful and melancholy of his early solo songs." |
