Die Tatsache, dass es überhaupt noch eine zweite Single gibt sollte uns dankbar stimmen und zeigt, dass alles zuvor (wie zb iywi als Vorgänger) nicht so falsch gewesen sein kann. Andere Bands schaffen es nicht zu ner Zweitauskopplung heutzutage. In den Berliner "Hey, Music"-Radiocharts ist SMS auf Platz 6 eingestiegen. Das ist doch gut und beweist, dass die Leute OMD nicht nur wieder auf dem Zettel haben. Mir wäre auch ein anderes Lied als zweite Single lieber gewesen, aber dieses ganze Gejammer wegen SMS... das kann doch echt nicht wahr sein!

Was viele einfach ärgert bei der Single-VÖ-Politik ist gar nicht so sehr welcher Song vom Album letztendlich die neue Single ist, sondern das es die Vinyl-B-Seiten nicht auch auf CD oder wenigstens als Download gibt - oder erst viel später, wenn schon die nächste Single ansteht. Das treibt die Fans dazu, sich andere Mittel und Wege zu suchen, diese Songs doch noch zu bekommen und auch zu hören, denn man kann heute wirklich nicht mehr von jedem erwarten, daß er noch einen guten alten Plattenspieler zu Hause rumstehen hat der auch funktioniert! Mir persönlich ist Vinyl sogar lieber als CD, aber WARUM gibt's keinen "One-off download Code", wie ihn viele andere Künstler bzw. deren Plattenfirmen anbieten? Selbst ich als Vinyl-Käufer finde die 7" Singles OHNE "One-off download Code" einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß und sie sorgen nur für Frust bei vielen Fans und führen außerdem zu illegalen Downloads. Das ist einfach Fakt - leider! Man könnte aber mit einem "One-off download Code" für jeden, der die 7" Single kauft für viel mehr Freude sorgen - und das ohne großen Aufwand.

Aha, eine Single-Version und ein Radio Edit, von der LP-Version ausgehend also sozusagen ein Edit und ein "edited Edit"... Und wir Normalsterbliche haben wieder keine Möglichkeit, an beide Versionen ranzukommen, weil auf der normalen CD-Ausgabe bestimmt nur eine drauf ist. Interessant ist ja auch die Zustandsbeschreibung: "The CD is in EXCELLENT Condition but does have a couple of very minor surface marks that dont affect play at all." Diese Aussage ist schon fast etwas für unseren "Witze"-Thread, findet ihr nicht? Ich meine: Entweder ist eine CD in exzellentem Zustand, oder sie ist zerkratzt. Diese hier ist beides...?!?

endlich wurde die limitierte 7" Single heute bestätigt. Es gibt eine " 7" coloured vinyl includes 'Sister Marie Says (Radio Edit)' and exclusive b-side 'History of Modern (part III & IV)'. Very limited amount available". In Deutschland wird es zudem wie gesagt eine Single-CD geben (2-Track). Tracks noch offen.
