Und Düsseldorf,was für mich am Besten von Zeit und Ort her passen würde ist bereits ausverkauft!! :twisted: Aber ich brauche ja auch ein paar Kröten,um zwei Wochen später ein Shirt(oder auch zwei :wink: )und ein Poster einzusacken.Also wäre es wahrscheinlich sowieso nix geworden.

Hat die jemand hier in der Runde schonmal auf der Bühne gesehen??Ist für mich eigentlich nicht die Band,die ich mir live so mitreißend vorstelle....
Nicht,daß mich hier jemand falsch versteht,aber irgendwie ist das so eine Band für mich,die ich mir besser auf Platte anhöre...... :? Schließlich haben die nicht Dave Gahan als Frontman....... :wink:

Ja, ich hab' PSB 2 x live gesehen. Einmal im Jahr 2000, das war damals mit großer Show, was irgendwie doch ganz gut passte, obwohl ich ansich nicht so großen Wert auf derartiges lege. Dann nochmal 2 Jahre später, einfach nur Neil und Chris (und wohl auch noch ein paar Gastmusiker, aber da kann ich mich gar nicht mehr so genau erinnern) und der Auftritt hat mich damals ziemlich gelangweilt. Habe mir danach gesagt, dass ich die Band nicht unbedingt nochmal live sehen muß..., zumal nicht für die nicht all' zu geringen Ticketpreise... :roll: Allerdings mag ich auch eigentlich nur die älteren PSB-Songs.

Einmal habe ich sie live gesehen, müßte auch 2000 gewesen sein in der Berliner Arena. Hab' mir nicht viel versprochen und war umso mehr positiv überrascht. Erst mit dem ganzen Maskierungstamtam, dann nach 'ner Pause in Jogginghosen und vereinzelt sogar akustisch. War 'ne feine Sache. Kam mir wie ein reines Pärchenkonzert vor, ganz friedlich haben alle Händchen gehalten. Und die PSB haben ein tolles Repertoire gebracht, schönen Querschnitt aus allen Jahren seit 1985. Da gab's nichts zu meckern.

@Zackenzicke: sie haben zwar nicht Dave Gahan als Frontmann, aber dafür spielen sie auch das, was das Publikum gerne hören will. Habe da mit DM einmal schlimme Erfahrungen gemacht...

Naja,Depeche Mode spielen zu 99,9% ihre bekannten Singles...leider.
Dabei sind wahrscheinlich genug alte Fans im Publikum,die sich tierisch über ein paar B-Seiten oder ältere Stücke der alten Alben freuen würden!!
Ist bei DM eben arg glattgebürstet,aber was will man der Größenordnung auch anders erwarten? :cry:
Genau das meinte ich ja bei den PSBs....das dort eine andere Stimmung beim Konzert herrscht.Muß ja nicht wie bei Kraftwerk sein,wo alle sich kaum bewegen und total konzentriert zuhören und zuschauen,aber trotz eingängiger und tanzbarer Songs kann ich mir nicht so recht vorstellen,daß dort abgetanzt und lauthals mitgesungen wird wie eben bei DM.Mir schwebte dort sowas vor,was Ihr hier vor mir beschrieben habt.....gute Stimmung,aber einfach ruhiger als bei solchen"Rampensäuen" wie eben Dave Gahan...... :)

Bei meinem DM-Konzert spielten sie nur zwei Stücke aus den Achtzigern: "Never Let Me Down Again" und "Black Celebration". Dafür sehr viel von Violator und Exciter, nicht nur die Singles. Selbst hartgesottenste DM-Fans um mich herum sind fast eingeschlafen. Klar, gehört nicht in den PSB-Thread, meinte aber mit "sie spielen nicht, was das Publikum am liebsten möchte", daß bei diesem DM-Konzert die Achtziger etwas heftig unterrepräsentiert waren.

Wusstet ihr eigentlich, das OMD für Neil Tennant damals so eine Art Vorbild dafür waren, die PSB überhaupt zu gründen? Tennant hat als Reporter von den "Smash Hits", der er ja ursprünglich mal war, sogar mindestens 1 X Andy McCluskey interviewt :!:

So ein Pet Shop Boys-Konzert 2007 kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Eigentlich tut man dieser Aufführung mit dem Begriff "Konzert" schon irgendwie unrecht; "Musical" würde es auch ganz gut treffen. Was die zahlreichen Sänger und Tänzer da so veranstalten, ist selbst für einen Kulturbanausen wie meiner einer schon recht begeisternd. Die beiden Pet Shop Boys wie Dompteure oder Dirigenten, während die "Darsteller" da so allerhand aufführen, eigentlich zu jedem Titel etwas anderes. Die Setlist ist ja bei so vielen Hits fast nebensächlich. Aber da wird doch echt ein Non-Single-Album-Track von 1987 ausgebuddelt ("Shopping") und gekonnt zwischen all den Mega-Hits plaziert. Sehr schön, das alles.
Absoluter Höhepunkt für mich: sie haben "Suburbia" gespielt, was nicht selbstverständlich ist, schliesslich lief die vierte Auskopplung ihres Debutalbums lediglich in D so gut. Hmmm, so feuchtfröhliche Augen gab's bei mir vorher nur bei OMD (2x) und als New Order 2001 "Love Will Tear Us Apart" spielten... :oops:
