Gerade in den Internet-Nachrichten entdeckt:

"Gerry Rafferty trinkt sich zu Tode. Lange Zeit litt er an Alkoholproblemen, von einem Zusammenbruch im November hat er sich nicht mehr erholt. Gerry Rafferty ist im Alter von 63 Jahren gestorben."

Sein 1978er-Welthit "Baker Street" mit dem markanten Saxophon machte ihn unsterblich, und das dazugehörige Album "City To City" hat einen festen Platz in meiner Plattensammlung.
Schade - wieder einer, der zu früh gegangen ist... :(
