Mal zu den Verwirrungen und Problemen bei der Vinylausgabe:

Ich hatte 3 Tage vor Erscheinen die Platte beim Händler vorbestellt und warte immernoch drauf (als Rückstand gelistet) und werd schon zappelig. Nirgends ist sie sofort derzeit zu bekommen außer völlig überteuert bei 2,3 Ebay-Händlern.
Beim stöbern durch diverse Online-Shops kam die nächste Verwirrung: Sie soll am 28.Mai als Doppel-LP erscheinen :shock: Verwirrung perfekt.
Genug... ich hab heute direkt beim Vertrieb angerufen. Die LP verkauft sich demnach wohl besser als erwartet und wird derzeit nachgepresst - indentisch mit der bisherigen VÖ. Wann genau sie da ist konnte man mir nicht sagen, aber innerhalb der nächsten 2-3 Wochen sei damit zu rechnen. Von einer zusätzlichen Doppel-LP wusste er nichts, könne er aber auch nicht ausschliessen (z.B. eine reine UK-Veröffentlichung).

Ich weiß nicht, wieviele meine inzwischen sich festigende Meinung teilen.. also ich habe mir die Bonustracks Great white silence, Time Burns, Frontline und No mans Land einfach mal unter die 12 EE-Tracks gemischt und so nun eine CD von 16 Titeln bekommen, sie sich astrein durchlaufen lässt. Noch stärker als EE ohne Bonustracks. Sogar Paules Stay with me fügt sich nun richtig gut ein und das Night cafe sind nun ein guter Ausgleich zu den Jupitersondenklängen usw. Eine Stunde Musik, die einfach so mit diesen 16 Titeln in der Gesamtheit nun das im Prinzip das Stärkste ist, was OMD seit fast 30 Jahren gemacht haben.
